A bit past prime. Decanted for 3 hours. Short. finish. Deep purple. Better after meal (steak) and sipping. Probably needed to breath much longer than 4 hours. No legs. Misses depth that one might expect. Would purchase s younger version.

The wine looks straw colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like butterscotch and cinnamon. It tastes like lemon and mineral. The body is light. The wine has fleshy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. I was surprised that it has lasted this long in less than excellent circumstances.

The wine looks garnet colored. It smells like mineral and cherry. It tastes like cinnamon. The body is full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity. Actually it is difficult to determine any of this--this 5-year-old wine is surprisingly good, with a sharp taste and somewhat lingering cranberry taste. Probably not drinkable a year from now.

The body is medium. The wine has angular texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.
It's okay for the price. Would go well with sharp cheese.

The wine looks inky colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It tastes like blackberry, cherry and cinnamon. The body is medium/full. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. Very drinkable and reasonably solid. I had it with steak but I imagine it would be better with a strong cheese.

A bit less mellow than previous tastings with a slight flatness, maybe just me remembering previous vintages but still very good. Well worth the price.

Lemon and apple flavor. The wine finishes short and is disappointing in body and overall taste.

Fruity, slightly acidic, medium tannin. Still seems a bit underdeveloped--or perhaps I did not let it stay in decanter long enough.
