Had at a restaurant in Chianti. Infanticide, but the price was a fraction of US retail, so hard to resist. Initially very dense and withholding (no surprise). Still very primary and closed, but opens up nicely with a decant. Black cherry, cassis, herbs, anise. Lively acidity.
