I enjoyed this wine straight from the bottle at dinner last night. It was a lovely complement to our meal and drank well without decanting or breathing . Cassis, dark berries, gravel. Gentle tannins. A bargain.

This is a lovely wine. Drank an hour after opening with a burger. Phenomenal combination! The tannic structure held up beautifully with the umami of the beef. Even better, we drank the other half of the bottle the next night with seared halibut. The tannins had softened and the bright subtle berry flavors came through. Enjoy!

I opened this wine 2 hours before consumption . Upon opening, the color was brick and the tannins overwhelmed the fruit. Two hours later, this wine was lovely. The color evolved to garnet with tawny at the edge. The nose was dark fruits and eucalyptus. The fruits opened into cassis and dark berries. I’m sad it was my last bottle, but will cherish the memory.

We enjoyed a bottle last night, opening it about 30 minutes before drinking. It was elegant, balanced and everything that a fine burgundy should be.
