Just fine, but nothing special. Would be a fun quaffing red were it not for the overly alcoholic body. Kind of throws off the whole thing to me.

Thin, unbalanced acidity and lacking in flavor. Hard pass for me, and I usually love this varietal. A shame, really.

Not as big of a wine as I would’ve initially thought. Lots of personality but in a fun and lively package that is not austere at all. Bold plummy 1st dimension, with a hearthier depth involving chocolate, cinammon, cloves, cured meat, and that classic Syrah pepper kick. Surprisingly vibrant acidity for South Rhone. Very easy to get through and a very pleasing wine overall. Maybe a bit expensive at 50$ CAD, but decent value.

Just fine. Thin and watery Pinot with very little personality. I did enjoy the slight earthy notes and sour cherry profile, but this just fails to entertain in any way. Hard to pair with food due to the same, and thus easier on its own unless you wish to lose it.

Interesting Gamay from an interesting natural producer. Very (very) tart raspberry and strawberry, a hint of spices and sour cherry and funk reminiscent of a sour beer. Biting acidity and little to no tannins. Clearly not a complex wine and nothing to write home about, but a fan experiment at a very reasonable price.

It’s all right. Hay, strawberry and wild flower on the nose, same profile on the palate. Decent acidity but could’ve benefited from long. Decent finish on strawberries. Not bad for a poolside rosé, but nothing to write home about.

Je ne comprends pas le hype. Fond de cerise camouflé par une dominante de levure très puissante et pas mal désagréable. Ça ne crunch pas et le fruit est toujours teinté par une note de fermentation quelconque. Ma bouteille était peut-être défectueuse, mais il reste que la volatilité de ce genre de produit devrait faire penser les gens deux fois avant de payer le même prix pour ça que pour un excellent champagne de RM. Anyway...

Magnums of Champagne are so much fun. This was very elegant like most of Fleury’s offerings. Dominance of lemon juice, cooked apples, fresh pastries and toasted almonds. This is certainly a richer style than what’s been en vogue lately but it is still very balanced and extremely pleasant to sip on.

Fun rosé that does what you’d expect from it. Nice, crunchy fruit with decent acidity and the typical notes of strawberry and raspberry. A bit more weighty than you’d find in Provence but still quite generic in that vein. Hard to go wrong with something like this but you can accomplish the exact same thing for a few bucks left if you care to look among the sea of Rosé that’s available comes spring.

This is very trendy stuff among somms and other winefluencere. A very well-made, interesting drop with a very fruit forward crunchy core and nice acidity to balance it out. This is nothing truly memorable, but a very versatile wine to have around the house or on the list.

Way too overbearing but without the balance and fundamental strength of a Tavel. Just a clumsy, strawberry-soaked palate with no counterbalance. Disappointing.

Pas pire du tout. Très sur l'abricot, le sucre d'orge et la clémentine. Belle acidité qui compense le sucre, gardant le tout bien zesty et frais. Très bon RQP sans joke. Le Chili fait du beau liquoreux!

Pas pire mais over the hill un brin. Manque d'acidité mais beaucoup de concentration autour des arômes typiques du Nero d'Avola (cerises, épices, cuir, chocolat, etc.) Tannins presque tous fondus également, ce qui déséquilibre un peu le vino. Disons que je ne paierais pas de prémium pour voir ce vin vieillir, mais que l'expérience était quand même pas désagréable.

Très impressionant pour le prix. Style oxidatif maîtrisé et beaucoup plus riche que le Grüner auquel on peut généralement s'attendre. Craie, fleurs blanches, fruits à noyaux très murs, noix de pin, crême fraîche et pommes cuites en fin de nez. L'acidité tient le coup mais sera définitivement un brin trop basse pour ceux qui aime les blancs nerveux. J'en achèterai d'autres avec plaisir!

Super intense et concentré, avec un côté pomme mûre et brioché très accaparant. On a de la noisette et de la nougatine, avec un petit côté pâte d'amande en finale. Belle mousse super foamy. Vraiment décadent en apéro ou avec des desserts genre Baklavas!
