Bought recently and a mistake confirmed on the second bottle (of 6). It simply lacks fruit or warmth and has lost all complexity or typical gigondas ‘dirt’. Avoid.

Another poor wine from Vernay - I had the same view of one of his non-Condrieu viogniers. One dimensional, entirely front of mouth feel, with little fruit.

Oaky nose that smooths out. Freshness prominent. Not with great depth or complexity. Perfectly enjoyable.

Second bottle, second time tasted with other much more expert palettes, second time same verdict. Barely recognisable as Viognier, far less the great Vernay. Lacking in concentration and body. We suspect overly high yields. A disappointment.

Lovely wine. Balanced, complex, with some sweet fruit. It is not going to get any better, but I think good for at least two more years.

A very unappealing bottle. No fruit, no charm, no merlot. Hoping it was either just a bad bottle or too early. Given other reviews, surely one or the other.
