I am stunned by this effort!!! This is to me how Pinot Noir is suppose to be, old world terroir, elegant perfumed, smooth soft round and mindboggeling like a beautifull woman.
Clear light ruby red color, light-medium body, very complex and ooh so beautifull nose with notes of candle wax, eraser, spices and earthy notes, pot pouri roses and oregano, pencil shavings, forest floor and some burnt wood in the backend.
Beautifull burgundian play. Great minerallity on the palate smooth silky mouthfeel well rounded, blackcherrys strawberrys, wet earth and eucalyptus and a nice subtle acidity, long aftertaste what a beauty this is!!
I sad all night sniffing this wine and wondered if it really could be true it was this good, this is by far the best Pinot Noir outside of Bourgogne I have ever tasted and only at 38$
I will most def get my hands on as many of theese as i can. . . 94-95 pts
