Cork was losing it but we enjoyed it. Still some fruit notes and quite nice.

I just inventoried my small cellar and saw the drink by date was 2009 so I opened it expecting it to be past its prime. It wasn’t. Still had plenty of fruit and was well balanced. Not the longest finish but still a very nice wine. The wife simply described it as smooth.

Delicious. Drank on Mother’s Day with big green egg grilled steaks. Very well balanced. Plenty of fruit and a very long finish.
