Still young but already full and round with a medium/long finish. Very balanced and drinkable. Will follow its progress to maturity over the next 3-5 years. Will likely upgrade my rating further, already one of the best NZ Chards I have tasted.

Have consumed half my case now. This wine has still plenty of life and is now showing tertiary characteristics of cigar box and leather notes. Fruit still very good, finish a little short when compared to other younger vintages. Well balanced, elegant. Super drinking now.

Superb complexity and finish, this wine still needs at least two hours decanting. It has come together well considering a blend of 6 Bordeaux grape varieties. Long life ahead, will taste again in 3-5 years.

Could be even better than the 2010! fantastic balance and complexity already. Beautiful, but needs several hours in a decanter due to tightness and youth. Infanticide now, but had to try it with some friends. Suspect this will turn out to be the best Larose yet made!
