I must have opened a pristine bottle because at 16 years, this was a fantastic showing. Color of deep ruby, with just the slightest hint of aging on the edges. On the nose - classic cabernet, but very refined as Corisons usually are.. tobacco, sweet purple plum, blackberries, hint of pepper, and tomato leaf in the warm summer sun. On the palate - sweet plum, licorice, a hint of green pepper & cherry. Classy and beautiful, plenty of fruit left. If my 2 remaining bottles are in as good a condition, I probably won't open my third for a long time.
