Fantastico Cabernet Franc naturale. Molto particolare il contrasto tra la complessità olfattiva e la persistenza da una parte e la freschezza e leggerezza al palato (dovuta a una scarsità di concentrazione, una certa “acquosità” che non lo rende tuttavia per nulla “scarico”).

Fiano is typically not meant to be drunk after many years. Still this wine keeps an incredible nose. Somehow weaker when tastes, it has lost most of its acidity and floreal flavour. Minerality is still very strong.

Natural Fiano, different from the Fiano you may easily find. Great nose, very fresh. Its structure goes well with elaborated recipes of seafood.
The wine looks Yellow gold colored. The legs are Medium.

Nice light Pinot Noir from Valle d'Aoste. I had it with a stuffed guinea-fowl and it was just great

Great Sangiovese. This is the base wine of Montevertine, the legendary winery established by Manetti in Tuscany, who decided to renounce to the Chianti DOCG t pursue his idea on how a real traditional Sangiovese had to be done. The winery is very famous for its Pergole Torte, but also produces Montevertine and Pian del Ciampolo.
I love this wine! It reminds me the old fashioned Sangiovese; still it is somehow difficult to get familiar with. No wood for this wine, but a great, strong, persistent sensation of minerality and a pleasant acidity.
