This gamay has held up remarkably well. I would consider it to be at peak or close to peak. It is perfectly balanced in the mouth and a wonderful compliment to the salmon we cooked.

This wine has lost the stronger eucalyptus notes that many younger Jordans have, replaced instead by a more complex body. The fruit still possessed significant power and the structure was still there to give the wine a full-mouth appeal with good balance and appealing spice. Jordan is consistently underrated by WS for some reason, as is its longevityl. I think this wine will live considerably longer than the average tasting window that the site has applied to it.
