Amazing wine. What flavors and nuances. I think this could age for years. I just love it. A touch of funk that adds another dimension. One of the best wines that I’ve have had in a while.

Elegant, silky. Dark berries. Pleasant now and a nice QPR. I'm saving 2 more bottles to try in a few years.

I’ve reviewed this delicious Chianti before. Only two things I’d change in my review: I said it was a pretty good QPR, it’s a very good QPR! The other thing is I think this wine is ready to drink right now. Perhaps you could lay it down for another year, 2 at the most. I only have one bottle left. Wish I bought more.

I might be biassed (it's our winery), but CC 2016 is at its best now: fruity, with lots of dark cherry and blueberry, liquorice, hints of pepper and even a bit of chocolate, terracotta and aromatic herbs. Lovely to drink, very food friendly.

Gave to LL to taste and review - Wow! This 15 year old Riserva was fabulous! A complex nose showed cedar, a hint of cherry and red fruits. The color was brick on the rim, but holding it's color well after this long. The palate showed sufficient fruit and even though the tannins are long gone, it's still balanced due to good acidity. The acidity has kept this wine lively. This wine absolutely has to be served with food...it was the perfect foil with meat-based tomato sauce and pasta.

Pleasant and nice QPR Chianti Classico. Dusty red fruits dominate. Tannins are more present than you might expect in such an inexpensive wine and are somewhat chalky. A drying but decently long finish make this an interesting and recommendable budget wine, paid $6 for a 375.

Not as good as the prior bottle I reviewed, a bit flat, but still enjoyable for a very old Chianti. Had a glass three days later and still ok.
