flawed
Initially, promising fruit, hints of earth and chocolate, plush tannins, but increasingly obscured after half an hour or so by cork taint until it became simply undrinkable.

Please drop me an email so I can get you a replacement bottle of this if you would like. I am unable to ascertain who you are from your handle here on CT. I am sorry about the corked bottle.

Think it was flawed. Grapey nose with distinct black pepper note, "thin" effervescent (on opening) palate marked mainly by high acidity. Major bummer.

2015 Kutch Chardonnay Sonoma Coast
Another corked Kutch bought directly for the winery. Some of the expected lemon and minerality on the nose/palate overshadowed by sweaty gym socks and wet dog. I’m out as a customer here.

secondary fermentation -- fizzy. vigorously decanted and we will see if anything is salvageable tomorrow.

7/28/17, 2:03 PM - I would be happy to replace this bottle if it is or was flawed EWS3. I am not familiar with it going off in the bottle with this wine, but that said, with cork there can be failures or a problem from the beginning or end of the bottling line. Please just let me know and I will be happy to replace. jamie@kutchwines.com
