Truly excellent Paso Zinfandel. Lush and jammy, raspberries plums and just enough peppery zip to reel it back in. Lingers without cloying sweetness. If you like Zin bombs it’s for you.

Beautifully soft Pinot, with a surprisingly fresh fruit finish without being sweet. Excellent now.

2014 Thacher Winery New Routine Paso Robles Red Blend (view label images)

Remains a beautiful inky purple. Still plenty of fruit in the nose and the open, but starting to develop some very lovely earthy structure in the mid palate. Buttery smooth tannins linger just enough for a soft but memorable finish. Appears to still have several years left, but very good now.
