Bit of a different take on north american Cabernet - more of an European style with less emphasis on the fruit. Not my cup of tea, interesting nonetheless.

Pretty good for the price. Deep color, dense, packed with fruit. A bit tannic without overwhelming.

I wonder if this bottle was bouchonée... Very muted nose and taste only vinous without much typicity as expected.

Label says this is a limited release - Santa Rita site does not acknowledge it's existence. About the wine: it is dense, deep colored with aromas of red and black fruit. Syrah dominates the flavours.
Overall quite good wine. Tried this on my 45th birthday.

Better than most Brazilian reds, but it lacks Cabernet character. This comes from a new region, much colder and closer to Uruguay that seems to be promising.

Great expression of Tempranillo - flavourful, quite fruity on the palate with good body. A good buy, even being a common-place wine in Spain.

Probably the best Côtes du Rhone I have had in a long time. Good body and density, even the color betrays that this is not a weak wine. Very aromatic, with good density of fruit and a strong finish.

Not my cup of tea... this wine has too much of a grape juice flavor. Very subdued, close to no tannins. Interesting to know a new grape type, but not much more than that.

An old favorite. Over the years I learned you cannot go wrong with this wine as an easy drinking, everyday cab.
On the nose the usual cassis, the palatable is round with vanilla aromas and flavors. Good finish.
