From the winemaker : "Classic red garnet color. Beautiful bright, lush red fruit comes out of the glass in the form of bing cherries and cranberries. Followed by a hint of earth, red currant and rhubarb. Sangiovese produces a lovely palate that is hallmarked by slightly chalky tannins and a long, mouthwatering finish. The wine is delicious with well balanced finesse that is rarely seen in North Carolina wines."

wonderful summer wine - aromas of citrus and honeysuckle. Well balanced, refreshing.

Notes from the winemaker: "Very nice pale straw color. The wine has a subtle nose with layers of lemon, citrus, hints of tropical fruits like le grapefruit. More reserved aromatically than the warmer 2019 version. The wine has a nice entry on the palate, very crisp and refreshing due to being aged entirely in stainless steel. The wine flow down and through the palate with good minerality and a solid backbone. There is a nice suppleness on the finish that will grow more intense with additional bottle aging."

Dried fruit and spice on nose. Flavors of cherries with hint of oak. Full bodied, med-high tannins. Finishes smoothly.

Winemaker notes: "Deep garnet color. Nice dense berry fruit flies out of the glass with a hint of oak underneath. Think blackberries, blueberries and a little bramble. Very smooth mouthful as the win glides across the whole palate. Well balanced between structure, oak and underlying acidity. On the finish, the wine showcases spicy berry fruit with a hint of oak and a touch of black pepper."
