Pale gold, touches of green.

Nose: Cool vanilla creme, light white flower, touches of butter.

Mouth: Honeydew melon and green almond come through just ahead of light poached pear notes on a glassy sheen of oak, as elegant washes of lime zest, white pepper, and triple sec fill in. Juicy and clean overall, with a lightly steely edge on the finish, this has excellent character and nuance to the layers of flavors within it. Drink now - 2026.

Opens with a big whiff of dried fruit, almost like Marsala. That gives way quickly to more subtle notes of vanilla and apple spice cake, but with plenty of strawberry and peach to keep it fresh. On a prior vintage, a reviewer had commented it reminded them of cheesecake. Second that for sure. Has this beautiful and unexpected tang. Acidity is zingy, fresh. As the wine warms in your mouth, gives off more tropical notes, a hint of kiwi and passion fruit. This wine is quite the adventure. It’s not a chuggable rosé for a sunny day, but it’s surely a thoughtful, delightful wine for that same sunny day. Will seek out other bottles for sure.

The wine in the bottle i had never really opened up.
Very dark, lots of wood some laurel and coffee that's all it had in store for me. Nice drinking but not very lively. Perhaps it needs more time.
Since I had mild corona symptoms and didn't taste well no points.

Pale straw in color, green reflections.

Nose: Ripe peach, lime, honeysuckle, nectarine skin. Light projection.

Mouth: Full citrus, honeydew, blanched almond, finished off with a slate streak and a beautiful floral note on the dry down. Fruits start off tart and end up round in the mid palate. Finish is a fine length of almond and slate.

Overall: Out of the bottle, fragrant, well developed, and rounded out. Lean, but lithe, and focused around the almond/slate on the mid palate that is its identity. A good value all in all. 100% Kerner.
