Wife describes this as liquid raisins. Really good dessert drink.

Second bottle I’ve had since my last tasting note in April. Notes would be duplicitous but I now think this is missing something. Needs more acid I think. Could be brighter perhaps? Certainly a friendly wine but I want it to be more cerebral.

This was odd. Tasted charred and porty. Consumed over 4 days with little change. I had high expectations and this fell well short. Off bottle maybe. I’d you have any I’d drink up to make sure it is tracking right.

This is just what I wanted as I have had a few thinner mourvedres of late. Opened bottle 3 hours before tasting. Dark, some plum and funk that I want from this grape. Drank well over two days. Drink and enjoy as I think it is in a perfect place. This can still go for a couple more years as well.

Don't know what to expect exactly from Paso Robles Marsanne. I have 4 of these and was planning to age them a bit Figured I pop one to see where it is at and not age unnecessarily. Light, a bit thin, honeyed melon-cantelope flavors, don't see it holding up well with food as the body isn't there. A pleasant wine to start the evening. I'd drink 'em up in the next year or so.
