1/9/23, 5:32 AM - Very helpful perspective; thanks for your comment! I will continue to enjoy this on its own but definitely need to try it over ice cream too!
4/13/21, 4:59 PM - I had the same experience, though I came back to it on day 3 and found it much improved. I also bought on BD12 and thought the dry Riesling (which I tried after this) showed much better upon opening. Haven't tried the Pinot Blanc yet but looking forward to it. If you have another bottle of this one, give it more time -- I thought it transformed from the apple juice you described to something really enjoyable.
4/15/21, 4:43 PM - Now I'm confused. I thought this one was the spider label and the Dry Riesling is the other one. The Dry Riesling says Yamhill-Carlton on the label (and in Cellartracker) but the spider label does not, which would make sense since it contains grapes from 3 AVA's (Eola-Amity Hills, Yamhill-Carlton, and the Van Duzer Corridor). CT is confusing because the spider label is pictured for both, but the second picture for the Dry Riesling is what I was thinking of for the Dry.
1/30/21, 5:59 PM - Hard to know for sure, but I don’t see it getting notably better with more age. I’d give it a good decant (or let it breathe for a while) and enjoy. Good luck!
1/31/21, 7:30 AM - Just remembered that mine was from a 375. So if you have a full bottle, it’s possible that it may still evolve. BTW, saw in your profile that you like Walla Walla wines. If you haven’t already, check out Prospice!
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
