Very balanced - nice acidity and lingering sweetness. But not overly sweet! Greta with crème brulee!

Tasted with friends and everyone was blown away by the complexity and depth of this Chard! It might not be what TCV is known for but they are so good at it!

(Matt's birthday 7.5.09) So it wasn't the religious experience we were looking for but it was drinkable! Actually, it was quite pleasant - not noteworthy but a fun little experiment, like eating the sandwich that has been at the fridge for too long!

(Matt's birthday 7.5.09) I guess when your expectations are low it is hard to be disappointed but this was still holding up well. Nice long finsh with balanced fruit - not overly complex but all in all a nice wine. If anyone is a stupid as me and still has a bottle of this wine - DRINK IT NOW!

(Matt's Birthday Party 7.5.09) Rich and carmely another shocker for the day as it held up very well. I bought it on Wine Bid for $10 and fully expected it to be bad - what a nice surprise that it was still going strong! Most of the fruit was gone but we had it with Chris' blue cheese tart and it was perfect!

Still drinking well - shocked at the vibrant fruit and complexity! I am always impressed by Drapper's winemaking skil and I will never second guess the age-ability of these wines again!

For a $12 bottle I am always amazed at the depth and complexity of this wine. Nice asparagis and fresh cut hay nose with balanced fruit flavors and a long elegant finish.

Excellent bouquet and flavors of baked earth, drying herbs and smoked meats - I could drink this every day for the rest of my life as it is very well rounded and balanced. Got it for a steal on Wine Bid and definitely need some more!

Gorgeous nose, great body - light and herbaceous to stand up to a little heat but creamy enough to leave you wanting more! I look forward to opening another bottle!

Great bottle. Opened it for our anniversary dinner and loved it! Long elegant finish - very food friendly and balanced. Dark cherries and spice with a nice cedary nose. Allred pointed out that it is a more modern style of Spanish wine but still a great buy! Estimate it will drink well for another 3 to 4 years - Tanzer says drink now?!

Not exceptional - I really expecte dmore flavor but I think it needs a few years. Nice fruit, honeysuckles and beeswax but quick finish left me wanting more.
