Solid and varietally correct, if less expressive than a top notch Arneis. Aromas of marzipan, citrus, and very precisely, for me, pancake batter, with flavors of lemon curd, almond, and peach. Strikes a good balance of richness and acidity. At $15 a solid deal and will probably buy again.

Bottle opens a bit closed but benefited from a short decant. Nose is a touch muted but gives off appealing whiffs of forest floor, crushed raspberries, and oak. On the mouth the tannins are plush and the acidity well integrated, but still present. Flavors are a mix of syrupy red fruit and some black fruit, with a little mushroom lingering in the background. In the second hour more oak and vanilla came through. Went excellently with a grilled pork tenderloin. This is probably as good as this vintage will get, drink soon.
