John Wayne didn’t have this much leather. First reaction, “I said god damn.” Changing every 5 minutes. Kept in cellar since purchased, still has tremendous fruit for a vintage this old. Could age another 3-5 years. Like a royal draped in jewels, the tannins waterfall for minutes over the edge of the tongue. If you get the lucky chance to find this gem hidden in the back of your cellar, you are in for a treat you did not expect. La Chouette means it’s cool, or all good. Spot on.
