Merchant walkabout tasting of the 2021 burgundy vintage in bottle. I really liked this vintage, the wines were showing well. It is lighter and crisper than the 2020, more open at this stage and easier to drink, but there is no under-ripeness. Comparing it to recent vintages, I see it as a slightly cooler version of 2017. TN (LLM showed the 2020 vintage): Lovely aromatics here, expressive on the nose and palte with farmyard, red and dark fruit. 94
