10/28/18, 3:46 PM - What's interesting is I have been opening up a bunch of older KB pinots, all of them have been properly stored. The 2009 Sonoma Coast we opened up was beautiful. The same evening as the 2012 KB SC, I opened a 2012 KB RR and a 2011 Rochioli Little Hill. All three of these wines were lacking anything of interest. We had an '11 Little Hill earlier in the year and it was singing, so it is possible they hit a dumb phase. We had a 2014 KB Kanzler that won a tasting three weeks ago and a 2013 KB RRV last night that was palatable, but nothing great. Thanks for the feedback and good luck. Despite having some good luck myself with older bottles of KB and Rochioli, I am learning that these were probably best within 2-3 of vintage date.
