December 17, 2015 - PNP. Cork perfect. Color dark garnet. Nose mostly blackberry. Swishing has mostly acid structure which is intense, with some stem skin tannin on the end of the surprisingly long finish. Has some VA notes but mostly blackberry and vanilla on the palate, and sipping hides the acid under the dense fruit. I have been monitoring my 09s recently and while some of them are a little weird this one is solid.
