  January 31, 2013 - Consistent with my previous note. Very fruity and rich. Shows an attractive combination of plum, raisin and vanilla flavors and aromas. Very nicely balanced, with just a touch of heat on the long, satisfying finish. What a bargain this was at just $12.

  February 22, 2012 - Shows an attractive nose of berries, smoke and vanilla. The mid-palate is deep and features juicy flavors of cherries, plums and chocolate, kept lively by a nice underlying acidity. Well-integrated tannins and a touch of oak linger nicely on the rich, fruity finish. Very polished and refined for a $12 Crianza.

  July 2, 2011 - Food wine and needs at least a full one hour decant then throroughly enjoyable. Intoxicating and woodsy on the nose, warms the pallette with vanillan oak and cloves with a medium to longer pepper finish. This is not a pop and pour or a quaffer, I left it decanting in the cellar for about 90 minutes and served at cellar temperature with grilled NY striploin, it was a good choice.
