May 25, 2023 - PnP and drank over 2 nights. Opaque black with ruby tinge. Medium body. Uncommon flavor profile. Black Cherry, with raspberry and cranberry, and a hint of blackberry. Anise too? Very nice spice. Moderate finish is mostly black cherry and spice. Plenty of fruit, but I don’t find it sweet per se. No signs of deterioration at 14 yoa. It is not a wine I’d like drink every day, but it’s a wonderful change of pace.

May 30, 2017 - Same as last year. No hurry to drink.

April 20, 2017 - Had been holding onto this wine for a white. No real reason, just didn't ever decide to drink it. Far to sweet for my liking.

May 11, 2016 - Not sure why I'm doing this note; I have to be the only one with this wine still in my cellar. Splash decanted and dark over next three hours. Purplish brown. Rims not yet orange. Nearly opaque. Earthy, tart-cherry and raspberry, with lesser hints of plum (blueberry?) Overtones of spice on the long finish; dark fruit come forward as finish lingers.

February 21, 2016 - Too fruity and sweet. I hope holding it would mellow with age but 7 years wasn't enough
