Community Tasting Notes 1

February 17, 2016 - Notes after 90 minutes open. Dark and hazy plum-ruby color. Slow, clear legs and no sediment. A massive bouquet from the glass reveals camellia and geranium florals with a big sack of forest floor- leaves and mulch, biltong jerky, and cotton candy. I can almost chew the aroma. Silky smooth palate that still has energy and lift and that provides a finish measured in minutes rather than seconds. This is really something special and probably just hitting its peak window of development. I wish I had a few more. 5+14+18+8 = 94
