June 4, 2022 - Bing cherry. Then more bing cherry. Must like bing cherry. Ready to go but years of life ahead. Exuberant and fleshy fruit, almost too much. Did I mention bing cherries?

June 25, 2018 - Weekly tasting group RWP #291: Burgundy 2009 (@ VD): In the bouquet dark and red berries as well as vanilla and toast. On the palate good dark berry fruit, herbs and spices, some chocolate, a bit rustic, some sweet licorice, good acidity and round tannin. Beautiful and elegant wine.

May 21, 2016 - This has a unique freshness to it that really reminds me of what Pinot Noir tastes like when you're tasting it in Beaune. Big heavy 09 cherry with flecks of bourbon, really reminds me of 09 Maume Bourgogne. Tart cherry and blackberry jam, easy to finish. Threw a surprising amount of sediment in the last pour.

November 29, 2015 - A solid Chambolle, lovely minerality, floral notes, tons of red berry fruits. Nicely integrated palate, but still a tight. Will be better in a few years.

July 30, 2014 - ultima bottiglia, condivisa con un grande amico. Vino in forma splendida, peccato non averne altre. Consiglio caldamente l'acquisto.
