April 7, 2024 - Final of 4 bottles, last had this wine about 3.5 yrs ago.
Lovely tobacco and sour cherry notes, some pretty acidity to cut through the tart fruit, and gritty tannins still present.
Will last another 5+ yrs, but gorgeous now. -

Premier nez de prunes et de chocolat noir
En bouche, continuité, prunes cuites chocolat, liqueur d'amande, étonnamment les tanins sont bien présents, rêches, sauvegardant la tenue du vin.
Nettement en déclin mais encore buvable ! -

September 23, 2021 - 2 hour decant before serving. Deep garnet color. Jammy red berries on the nose, eventually picking up some syrupy fruits. Medium body with medium-to-medium-plus acid and strong mouthcoating tannins. Surprisingly thin on fruit on the palate, offering some raspberries, without quite picking up much secondary flavors yet. Jammy finish. This might be in an awkward phase.
