  July 9, 2012 - This wine smelled delicious, it had aromas of pepper, spice, dark red fruit, it really opened up in the glass. It tasted as delicious with a nice long finish. It had a touch of tannins but even the non-red wine drinkers in the group felt it was velvety. I wish I had bought more.

  November 19, 2010 - Oh my god this was not innocent at all (Do you think the guys who named the wine wanted reviewers to say that?) Anyway, it smelled like burnt hair, burnt rubber (The lady who poured it said even without smelling at the glass "Wow, that is really toasty"). The guy next to me said "This smells like London" and he nailed it! And as much as I like this town, that's not a compliment! There were some positive moments of the wine but all in all really not a great experience...

  May 4, 2010 - With time in the decanter & glass the body develops over time. The nose of vanilla, black pepper & dark fruit emerge immediately however. This pours a beautiful dark purple and drinks well beyond its price point.
