January 14, 2020 - Brought this and a 1990 Domaine Pothier-Rieusset Pommard 1er Cru Clos de Verger as the last flight of a 2007 white burgundy tasting dinner.
Mature appearance, especially next to the Pommard. Beautiful floral nose intermingled with red cherry notes. Champ Pedrix is next to Boudots on the Vosne side of NSG and it shows. Good mid palate, balance and texture ending in a lovely finish.
The is a very elegant Nuits which is drinking much better than a Maison Leroy bottle of the same vineyard and vintage that we had at another dinner two months ago. Lovely contrast to the richer 1990 Pommard
