February 23, 2019 - Simply lovely. Had it with a salmon grilled in foil with dill and lemon slices and butter. Haven't had this in years. Have a couple of more bottles going to have them with grilled salmon this summer.

August 21, 2016 - Very good again. Noticed a bit more grapefruit and banana in the bouquet and less fruit drive overall on the palate, but with a few hours of air exposure, I was quite pleased with all that was being presented. Firm acidity and a decent and detectable bedrock of minerality with subtle and very long finish notes that pop up minutes after swallowing. Missing is some of the marshmallow and nut dashes that were highlighted a few years ago, though some other secondary notes of maturity still add a lot to the picture now. Drink or hold up to a couple years. 5+11+16+8= 90

    November 6, 2015 - Garagiste Selection

    Color: pale gold
Nose: Very clean and subtle; floral. Nice viscosity
Body and flavor: medium-full; excellent balance that highlights the grape!
    Aftertaste: medium

Paired with a light cream-based onion soup.

August 10, 2015 - Light straw color. Dirt, crushed walnut shell, lemon rind, and a little toasted marshmallow for the bouquet. I think some sulphur was still present at the pop but aired out quickly.
The full body of maturity is setting in and the palate is plump and very persistent. I really feel like the grape is being expressed, not the elevage or terroir, but rather just pure Chardonnay flavor. Would be a great example to use for a wine class introduction about what Chardonnay tastes like before all that other stuff is done to it. Punching above the $20 price tag, which leaves plenty of extra cash for a plate of oysters. 5+11+17+8= 91
