  August 19, 2014 - Tuesday Night Double Blind <$30 (Bin 75): Dark core with crimson rim; tar, roses, mint, dark cherry, cedar; soft tannin, classic Nebbiolo character, softer riper cherry, slight nutty, dried leaves, modern, lower acid; tasty, wasn't keying in on the Barbera as much.

  January 19, 2012 - Fantastic 50/50 blend of Barbera & Nebbiolo. Lots of tart, sour cherry fruit from the barbera, extremely pure, fresh and lively. Complemented by the firm tannins and aromatics of the Nebbiolo. Beautiful, pure red fruit aromas, some earthy funk, florals, etc. The acid and tannins balance this out and give it great structure.. really nice.

  February 19, 2011 - Love this producer's Barbaresco across a number of vintages and bottles and this one is outstanding as well. 50% Nebbiolo, 50% Barbera. The Barbera takes it in a darker, earthier, murkier direction but the flavor profile of the Nebbiolo is still there. Raspberries, tar. Powerful and elegant. Love it.
