November 28, 2017 - Perfect provenance - great level. Colour is fading but still lively, Perfectly integrated bouquet, I'd never expect this to be so well poised it really was a remarkable bottle. The weight of St Emilion from another age, all elegance and grace, completely melted tannin's, no dusty edges just really graceful mature fruit. A huge treat.

December 25, 2005 - Wonderful bouquet initially of ripe berry fruits, good clarity and colour once poured, initial tasting slightly disappointing and one supected overaging. However once decanted for an hour it really showed a marked improvement, good depth of flavour and long lasting, quite alcoholic and punchy, generally very enjoyable. I think it was well cellared before my (recent) ownership.
