July 8, 2018 - Brilliant ruby color with some aged color at the edges, snapshot of cherry aroma up front, with wet cedar and forest floor followup. Nice brighht black cherry cola flavor with a pleasant touch of acidity and astringency to balance the fruit. Nicely put together for 2009, but had to wait for it! Drink now!

September 19, 2017 - This wine took some years to unwind, but the result is very delicious. Brilliant medium light garnet in color. Damp forest floor and fir tree on the nicely aromatic nose. Medium bodied, delicious and pronounced mouth watering sour cherry and slight cola with white pepper medium long finish. Really glad I have 2 more left! This still has good acidity and mild softened tannins and fruit intensity for at least 3-5 more years, but no need to wait either.

July 5, 2015 - Finished 3rd of 6 in a blind pinot tasting. Very light in color, but still big on the palate. Really enjoyed this bottle.
