  August 6, 2019 - An der Nase gute Mischung aus exotischen Früchten, Petrol, Kamille, floralen und mineralischen Noten, mittlerer bis voller Körper mit gutem Schmelz, schmeichelnder Säure, langem Abgang. Schöner Wein!

  May 30, 2017 - Rich, lush, plump and viscous.
  Feinherb mouthfeel, peppery floral and mineral midpalate, good acidic frame, fresh fruit like peaches and melon.
  Not the most complex wine, but very tasty, especially when served properly chilled.

  November 26, 2016 - HWS Game dinner 2016 (@ RvD): The bouquet starts to show some maturity in a beautiful way. Yellow fruits like pineapple, a touch of petrol and a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness.

  April 5, 2015 - Much better than my last bottle. This was slow-oxygenated for a couple of hours before serving, and showed really nicely with layers of ripe citrus and stone fruit flavours accented by lime leaf, stony minerality, and more savoury smoky notes. There's a broad, creamy texture on the palate, but good acidity beneath keeping it very well balanced.

  March 7, 2015 - This didn't do much for me. There's plenty of ripe fruit, minerality, and a touch of developing creaminess here, but it's somewhat monotonic and heavy on the palate without the acidity or lightness that I look for in Saar Riesling. It's certainly well balanced, but just isn't particularly interesting or charming.
