July 10, 2023 - This is drinking much better than I had expected. For my palate at or near peak. Nose a great mix of blackberry, cigar, leather. Chocolate and hazelnut. Palate nicely balanced now for a warm vintage and right bank. Fresher and more balanced than many. Not highly complex or classically great, but very nicely done. Oak was judicious here - seems to be second and third use barrels.

March 3, 2019 - No fruit left, all tobacco, leather and earth

September 24, 2014 - Either an off bottle or going down hill.

September 14, 2013 - This surprised me as being much better than anticipated as well as NOT the traditional style Bdx. Not a fruit bomb, but balanced and very enjoyable.

December 6, 2011 - Great Bordeux for the price.
