October 19, 2023 - Dinner with Aaron B at Park Ave Pub. This bottle was spectacular. Drank well from the get-go, but even a bit better after 30-45 min of air. Still great fruit, beautiful balance, some herbal complexity. Got lots of oohs and aahs from the group. Sadly my last of the 07s. Great stuff, and would have lasted a few more years. But I think this is at peak and probably not going to get better. Crack it open and enjoy.

August 7, 2022 - 15 years old. This wine could almost drive itself with adult supervision. Allowed to breathe for 15 minutes. Black currant and leather lead the way here for the flavor. Tart raspberry and licorice follow suit with subtle asphalt aromas. Full body and smooth finish. Pairing this baby with some frozen chicken tenders and cool ranch Doritos.
