May 29, 2012 - Great color in glass with thin browning rims. Lovely bouquet and ripe fruit on palate with great concentration. Very classy and seductive - a lot going on here. Not jammy but with plenty of weight on palate. 14.5% alcohol. At peak and drinking wonderfully now. (Paid $28.00/btl through Sausal's ZinFanz wine club). 90/100.

November 13, 2011 - More like a Merlot in style. Soft without any unique characteristics. Notes of dark berries and cassis with a velvety texture. Medium length finish. Balanced without too much alcohol, but needs more nuance.
