June 27, 2020 - So good, I had to open another, thank goodness that I have two more to sample in one year intervals. I have the same notes on this bottle. Perfect cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days, fruit more predominant on the first day. Softened depth and integrated complexity on day two. Deep ruby color with little to no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of cranberry, black tea, with hint of forest floor. Flavors of black cherry, cola, and raspberry compote with a medium to long finish. A very balanced flavorful Pinot Noir from a fabled vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. This age worthy wine may have more years of life left. Great fruit and a very good effort.

January 10, 2015 - A bit hot on the palate but gets better after an hour. Not complex enough for long aging.
