December 25, 2022 - Touch of round and leaner stone fruit and Asian pear, then drops off into minerality and slate. Not awful, definitely tertiary dominant. Most likely over the hill. 86-87(-)

April 15, 2021 - Still hanging in there, with good typicity for a Central Coast Rhône varietal white blend of good pedigree -- fat, unctuous, still with plenty of vivid fruit (white peaches, abricots, quince) and some grassy notes that add interest. Convincing as an American cousin of Beauscastel blanc. Just barely enough acidity; this wine does not require food and indeed requires somewhat careful pairing at the table; a firm white fish with mango salsa would be a good match, for example. Drink up if you have any, as this won't hold up all that much longer. Seventeen years is impressive enough already.

December 25, 2019 - Great pairing with crab bisque

February 23, 2017 - Avec gnochi maison au fromage et crème.
CV Prestige et patrimoine 2014 45$
Assemblage viognier, grenache blanc, roussanne, marsanne.
    Nectar d'une dorure notoire.
Bouquet assez aromatique sur les ananas confits, miel, pêches.
Bouche assez grasse et huileuse, puis vaguement minérale.
Particulier. Tous n'ont pas apprécié à table.
Facture très honnête. Je racheterai sans hésiter.
    ***1/2
