  April 25, 2019 - Hard to believe this Zin is 13 years old. Very strong fruit but the finish tells it age. It could of gone another 3-5 years.

  March 13, 2013 - This wine has developed nicely in the last year or so. On first sip it's got a very nice tanginess along with the expected dark fruit from zin. However, unlike many zins, this is decently balanced (13.9% the likely reason). But the best part was about an hour in when a crisp apple note became predominant. Did a quick search the next day and snapped up what appear to be the final 3 bottles of this vintage for sale. If one can find this elsewhere it is very good for around $18.

  February 24, 2012 - No formal notes. Pop n pour. Very much on the red fruited spectrum with strawberry and raspberry and some mild earthy undertones. Somewhat simple but great balance with no pokey/disjointed edges and quite enjoyable with the pizza we had.

  October 23, 2010 - Just loved this wine. 13.9% alc/vol. When did you last have a zin like that? Cherry and black raspberry aromas and flavors. Quite dry, a little bit on funk in the aromas and aftertaste. Great with sausage, spaghetti, charcuterie, turkey.
