Mesistopheles Does not like this wine: 84 points
May 29, 2022 - NV bought 5/19 at winery. Composite cork, less than 1/4" penetration. Lots of tartaric acid crystals on cork. Pop and pour. Red plumb color with a little browning at core, and light rim. Notes of fresh strawberry faded quickly replaced by cherry candy / cobbler. The first taste makes you think sweet, but it is not. It has a lot of acidity mid-palate and a touch of astringency. Flavor goes from cherry to cranberry and rhubarb. Finish is strawberry and is of medium length. The whole experience reminds me of a Jolly Rancher
