January 24, 2022 - Did not hold out much hope based on recent posts but with two-hour decant presented beautifully. Danty yet complex and fully integrated. Lovely.

May 2, 2020 - Alas, waited way too long to enjoy this wine. She is tired and had seen better days!

March 17, 2018 - Not even close to gone. In a really good spot right now! Poured with some translucence. Nose and palate of black cherry, herb, cola. I think I have had a previous vintage which was just as solid. This wine had a lot of complexity. Very dense pinot, easily outdoing the 2015 Orin Swift No Vacancy Pinot at a 14 year disparity. This one will probably outlive that one! If you have this one in your cellar, and it's been stored well, you have NO problem letting it sit, but since it's drinking so well you might as well pop one!!

Nose of strawberries and cherries. Nice mouthfeel but a little short.

July 6, 2015 - Pale ruby color that turns to pink with a hint of orange at rim. Full strawberry and cherry fruited nose. A bit of mocha, a bit of soy but mostly lovely, maturing red fruits. Very solid and pure palate. Fraise de bois. Mid palate is exceptional with fruit holding on the finish well. I won't keep the other bottle much longer (I see no upside). This is a serious and appropriate start to the 4th of July weekend. Extract is unbelievable. (96)
