April 17, 2015 - Dark ruby with vibrant crimson hue. Showing aromas of vanilla, herbaceous, black currant, dark cherry, inky smoky tones and some leafy notes. A bit old world feel too.
But the palate pull me back to new world territory wityh nice robust entry support by bright acidity, it has nice fruity notes with dark cherry and blackcurrant interwoven with subtle tobacco and smoky notes. Some bottle age gives a nice supple mouth feel. Long persistent finish with ripe and chewy tannins. -
