    March 1, 2017 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs
    -med dark red, mild bricking
-subtle dark fruit stone tar licorice
-med- acidity, med weight faint remnants of dark fruit with earthy mature elements, med/med+ tannins and some heat on the finish
-still somewhat pleasant but past its prime

    August 31, 2015 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs and day 2
-nearly opaque dark red no bricking
-initially shy but opens up to a moderately expressive stony base with some fading almost jammy dark fruits
-med acidity, med weight earthy with residual licorice mocha somewhat bitter med chalky tannins and a touch of heat on finish; leaning toward grapey and medicinal on day 2
-this was appealing in its primary fruity youth and might be better in a few years if it picks up some complexity and sheds some of the residual tannic structure, but right now it is just OK

April 28, 2014 - Obviously under appreciated here
    This is solid.

April 28, 2014 - Fresh floral notes. Finishes with red currant and blackberries. Nice light. Double yum and a quarter.

February 18, 2013 - No detailed notes. Didn't expect a lot and was pleasantly surprised. Smooth black fruit with a floral note and a touch of pepper. Very round and full mouthfeel after an hour decant. Smooth tannins. Drinking nicely at this juncture.
