  April 26, 2012 - Heck, I really liked this last time, so no rating, as I've already consumed a bottle of their Cab Sauv. Pretty good, definitely cooler-weather Syrah. Maybe I should keep the final bottle for more years. Doesn't seem that complex, but I',m sure in my current state I'm not doing it justice, so I'm keeping the rest for tomorrow!

  January 21, 2012 - Much more smokey than I remember, perhaps this phase of its evolution the oak is coming out. Much bigger than I remember also. Overall a nice wine to end the night with, and I think with a bit more air it would do very well indeed.

  April 21, 2011 - Not as good as I would have expected... high tannins, limited fruit, hasn't aged much - maybe try again in 3-5 years? Decanting was not helpful. Improved slightly day 2.

  March 29, 2011 - Still not good at identifying anything on the nose, but something like dusty wood. Did not strike me as a bold fruity wine, it was more even-handed and subtle than cheaper wine I'm used to. Medium tannins, no heat, nice body. It did benefit from being run through a vinturi as it was a bit bright right out of the bottle.
