  March 22, 2012 - Color is pale red; nose is slight strawberry and rhubarb; taste is muted red fruit and lots of acid mid-palate and in the finish, which is short-medium.
  
  The winery's notes say this stuff is silky, fruit-forward and strong on the acid, making it a great food-wine. It does have a nice mouth-feel and it's definitely strong on the acid, but the fruit seems a bit muted to me. I don't get the full cherry, strawberry that I think I should. When the fruit isn't full, I expect to taste the terroir, which I don't in this stuff. With that, it was nice with dinner and is still pleasant to drink while relaxing.
