July 13, 2017 - In peak drinking window now. Definitely an iron fist in a velvet glove -- expansive dark fruit, round, balanced. Enormous nose. Best at a cool temperature; as it warmed up, the flavors became slightly muddier.

March 1, 2015 - One of the oldest and best mature Pinot I ever tasted.
I think I had this bottle for about 25 years or more and I was 100% sure it is gone...

February 1, 2013 - Tasted blind, this wine had a red/purple center with some light red and orange at the rim. The nose showed black cherries, raspberries, brown spices, smoked meat, and soil.
In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with light, rounded tannin and solid acidity. While it was generally well balanced, I detected a hint of heat.
This still seem a bit young but certainly starting to drink. I would opt for drinking this over the next 5-10 years. Enjoy!
